ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE

Our Church is New Hope Church, we are a Bible believing and Bible teaching church. Founded to preach the gospel where Christ was not known. We believe in the power of God who can change every human life, regardless of background, we want to bring it into His destiny through a living relationship with Jesus and the person of the Holy Spirit. In the month of August 2017 an outreach was conducted by New Hope Ministries in Ramavaram village among the poor and unreached people with the aim of bringing people to faith and making disciples. This outreach had now grown into a small church.
New Hope Church is located at Ramavaram village in Jaggampeta Mandal of East Godavari District in Andhra Pradesh, south India. Ramavaram is located beside the National Highway 16 and is 40 Kilometers away from Rajamahendravaram Airport. And is 158 Km away from Visakhapatnam International Airport.
The geological area is having more dry lands and less fertile lands. Also the land is surrounded by mountains and hills. Hence the agriculture income is very poor. We have taken up this backward area for launching our social and vangelical programs for the benefit of the poor and needy. The people among whom we started our church are very poor, most of the people live in huts and sheds. Even today they do not have proper houses, roads, drinking water facilities and toilets. They don’t have proper way of living, their children have no education facilities, and proper dresses to wear. Totally the living conditions of the people living in this area are very miserable.
New Hope Church was started seven years ago among the poor and unreached people. Since New Hope Church do not have any land of its own, we started our church in a street and used to gather our congregation under street lights during the nights. Like this we continued our church for one year and later we took a small rented house for five years. Unfortunately we had to vacate the rented house in October 2021. By that time we were helpless and were on the road. At that critical time we offered our prayers to Lord Jesus. The Lord who said, “I will never leave thee” blessed us amazingly with a small piece of land. We were able to purchase a small piece of land among our congregation. By God’s grace recently we laid a foundation for our small church construction.

After completing my graduation I happened to see an incident in my native village. A man died with HIV/AIDS leaving his two little children. But my villagers do not know that he died with HIV/AIDS. They believed he died with black magic and even they do not know about this dreadful disease HIV. Two years later his wife and little boy died, but still my villagers believed they died with black magic, as an educated man I took their blood samples and tested in labs and found they were having HIV. I regret for the foolishness of my village people. But this incident moved me greatly to think about the victim children in my nearby villages, accordingly I started working to make a survey in five Mandals (Divisions) with the help of community health workers and Nurses of primary health centers of local Government in West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. After my primary survey I came to know that there are many children living with
HIV/AIDS around me in my nearby villages. I happened to see many deaths of the children and their parents. After seeing all these death incidents of the children and their parents, their blind beliefs, lack of knowledge and awareness and foolishness of the people in the society I moved and inspired to do something for these victims. The children and their parents who suffer and dying with this dreadful disease do not know Lord Christ and his salvation. They are dying without knowing Jesus Christ. So I inspired to start working for these victims and registered a trust on the name of New Hope Trust to work for the benefit of the victims of the HIV/AIDS, poor needy and downtrodden children and people and to spread the gospel and make many unknown to know Lord Jesus Christ and His salvation. New Hope Trust emerged from these miserable and pathetic situations to give hope to the hopeless. I started a home for the children living with HIV/AIDS by gathering the children from the surrounding villages of five Mandals nearby my native place in Ganapavaram, West Godavari District, I run it for two years but due to lack of money and support I closed it in 2014. Though I closed the home I never leave the children, I use to gather the children every three months and giving them nutrition and creating awareness on the issue they are facing in their lives and also I use to give them new garments every year during the Christmas season.

INSPIRATION TO START NEW HOPE TRUST

Francis Rao Sandhi

New Hope Trust was founded by me (Francis Rao Sandhi) in 2005. I am a pastor, church planter, tribal missionary, human resource manager, social worker and advocate. I have completed my Post Graduation in History, L.L.B.,(Law) from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and M.B.A., from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada with good academic credentials, competencies and conviction for frontline service with its headquarters based at Enikepalli Village, Nidamarru Mandal (Division) in West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh.

Born to a devout poor and illiterate parents as youngest son in a backward village namely Enikepalli in the state of Andhra Pradesh, south India and brought up in a nominal family. My father namely Pullayya alias Peter was suddenly demised due to illness. At this juncture my mother and brother have jointly strove hard to eke out our family burdens besides to support me for my further college education at other places. I have one brother and two sisters who have got married and who are living on agriculture works with severe hurdles in their routine life. I got married and blessed with two daughters.

By the grace of our Lord Jesus I am the only one who acquired higher education in M.A., L.L.B. and M.B.A., among the youth of my village. I was very keen in spreading the gospel along with our church members at our nearby villages with a sense of zeal, enthusiasm to serve the Lord Jesus besides to render social activities among the poor, needy and depressed people on charitable manner with a view to arrest their impediment problems. I had realized that I am a sinner and I confessed my sins and accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal Savior and I got baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in the year 2011. I was brought up in a good spiritual discipline and was taught to have a prayer life and was given a good foundation by my beloved Pastor at my native place Enikepalli village. After completing my studies I was forced to start a Primary school at my native place with a view to educate the poor and needy children (under privileged) with my meager contributions / well-wishers donations from 1 st class to 5 th class on free of cost. Under my guidance it was continued for a few years with severe obstacles launched failure in payment of wages to the teaching or non-teaching staff totally failure eventually and it was handed over to the other managing staff in 2004. However I have been conducting awareness programs on literacy and education imparting counseling to the poor, needy students at our project area villages on charitable manner. In view of my family burdens I obtained many positions in various private organizations but I am not satisfied with those positions.

In light of the above situations, I have offered my prayers to Lord Christ for seeking His discretion to reveal about my future life. Accordingly I dedicated my life to serve the Lord Jesus Christ in places that never reached with the Gospel besides to uplift the poor, needy and down trodden by way of socially, religiously and economically without any disparity in caste, creed and nativity.

“ I am in passionate pursuit of excellence in my relationship with God and my heart cry is to see all the people in the villages nearby my village for His unprecedented blessings to be poured abundantly in the coming days for exalt the name of our Lord Jesus Christ”. With our meager contributions this ministry have accomplished out the social beneficiary programs to the poor and needy in the disciplines of Health and Education on free of cost since 2004 before getting our Trust registered with the Governmental authorities. However there is a strong need to alleviate the economic situation of the poor and needy by organizing various beneficiary programs in the ensuing days. Due to my financial stringency I cannot alone to meet the expenses, so I therefore beseech you all whole heartedly to kindly shake your magnanimous hands with this Ministry in reaching our goals diligently by explore the possibility of your good efforts.

I am praying to God to lead me to a role model and to learn from God and receive an impartation for this ministry. God has given me a vision of seeing the body of Christ into fullness of “Five Fold Ministry.”
