REALITY

GOSPEL:

I burdened with a vision to turn the poor people with the knowledge of Christ to fulfill the great commission reaching to unsaved people how to overcome in this life and lay good foundation in the word of God. The people of our project area and nearby villages are influenced with Orthodox superstition and staunch Hindu background experience. However there is no peace, joy, correlation, felt guilty and desperate in life. Consequent on our frequent visits to our nearby villages by witnessing with the word of God, many conversions are being witnessed that Jesus Christ is the only living God.
I prayerfully opine that there is dire necessity to plant some more churches at the proposed areas as there is deep spiritual hunger and thirst by appointing the pastors to strengthen the new believers with the word of God.

SOCIAL:

The Project area people in West Godavari, East Godavari and Visakhapatnam Districts are a product of extreme poverty and which is the key factor and rampant in deciding the status of this project area. Most people in these districts work agriculture, with the ownership retained by small groups of landlords, business men and leaders. The people starve and find no other way to survive except to work as bonded laborers, rickshaw pullers and agricultural laborers traditionally for several generations. Due to the poverty
people prefer to send their children not to schools but to work as bonded laborers. Also because of illiteracy and poor educational status they are unable to bargain for a better deal. Agriculture is predominant and the incidence of crop failure due to inclement, natural calamities is commonly experienced.
Of late, most of the children are put to works in ways that deny them their right to childhood. Most of the children belong to marginal communities and socially and economically deprived groups. Women and children are thus exploited and denied education and their further prosperity. The plight of the unemployed youth is very pathetic, medical aid is out of reach of many villages especially in the tribal villages in our state, South India and congenital diseases like TB, Cholera (diarrhea), Jaundice, HIV/AIDS, Polio & deformities, are still prevalent. No concern for widows and orphans.
